Junior Solo Voice

MK Young Singer of the Year Recital - Festival Trophy
You must enter at least one other Solo Voice category. Please note that you should not sing a piece which you have already sung in another class. To be sung from memory. Accompanists will need to be arranged by the performer if required. Microphones and Backing tracks not allowed.

14 - 18 years

Two Contrasting pieces, at least one must be classical in genre.

Standards for entry for Piano and Instrumental classes

 

  • Early Beginners

    • Not yet playing hands together except for last chord (class P1)

  • Preparatory

    • Of Prep Test standard or moving toward this grade. (class P2)

  • Beginners

    • Grades I and below

  • Elementary

    • Grades II and III

  • Intermediate

    • Grades IV and V

  • Advanced

    • Grade VI and VII

  • Diploma                    

    •  Grade VIII and above
