The Milton Keynes Young Musician of the Year competition is the final part of the annual Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts for Dance, Music and Drama, Milton Keynes' largest and longest-running annual festival of performing arts for amateurs of all ages and levels of ability and is sponsored by Kawai Pianos.

This was a celebration of the musicianship of our 8 chosen young musicians, and the culmination

of our annual Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts for Dance, Speech and Music.

Every performer in this year's showcase was highly praised by our head judge Liz Childs. The winner of this year's title went to violinist Reeka Chanelle Manglicmot who gave us an exquisit performace. Second place was Vivienne Lim on Viola and third place went to pianist Clayton King Long Kwok. The other finalists were pianists Elly Yau, Aaron Tai and Adrian Tai and violinist Ezra Bail. Each performer took away a special trophy and certificate and a small amount of prize money.

A special guest performances by Milton Keynes Adult Piano Recital 2026 winner Jeffrey Au added an extra level of entertainment to the event, which was hosted by Festival Vice-President Mr Adrian Boynton.
