Standards for entry for Piano and Instrumental classes

 

  • Early Beginners

    • Not yet playing hands together except for last chord (class P16)

  • Beginners

    • Of Prep Test standard or moving toward this grade. (class P13)

  • Preparatory

    • Grades I and II

  • Elementary

    • Grades III and IV

  • Intermediate

    • Grades V and VI

  • Advanced

    • Grade VII and VIII

  • Diploma                    

    •  Passed Grade VIII more than one year ago or if you are playing a piece above Grade VIII standard
